How BRI Transfer works on rapi
When you open a rapi account and reach the deposit screen, you'll see e-wallet Transfer listed alongside mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, and other bank virtual accounts (online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking). Selecting local payment Transfer generates a unique virtual-account number tied to your rapi profile. This number stays the same across all your future deposits, so you can save it in your online payment app's payee list for quick access.
The deposit flow is:
-
Log in to rapi and navigate to Deposit
Select e-wallet Transfer from the payment method list.
-
Copy your virtual-account number
The system displays a 16-digit mobile banking VA number and the transfer amount you entered.
-
Open your local payment app or visit an ATM
Initiate a transfer to the virtual account using the number rapi provided.
-
Confirm the transfer and wait for settlement
Our system typically detects the incoming transfer within minutes; verification may take longer during peak hours or holidays like Idul Fitri or Idul Adha.
Once the transfer settles, your rapi balance updates and you can begin placing bets on football markets (Liga 1, Piala Indonesia, Piala AFF, Champions League), live-dealer tables (blackjack, roulette, baccarat), or slot games (Aviator, Sweet Bonanza, Gates of Olympus). Your online payment account statement will show the transfer to the rapi virtual account, so you have a clear record for your own accounting.
Why mobile banking Transfer is reliable
local payment operates Indonesia's largest branch network and processes millions of transfers daily. We've partnered with their virtual-account infrastructure so transfers route directly to our settlement account without intermediaries.
The virtual-account system also means you don't need to remember a separate merchant account number — your rapi profile generates and stores it automatically. If you lose the number, you can regenerate it from the deposit page anytime.
Account verification and first deposit
Before your first online payment Transfer settles, rapi requires identity verification. We ask for a government-issued ID (KTP, passport, or driver's license) and a recent utility bill or bank statement showing your name and address. This is standard KYC (Know Your Customer) practice across regulated platforms and protects both you and us from fraud.
Upload your documents through the Account → Verification menu. Our team reviews submissions within a standard window — typically same-day during business hours, though weekend or holiday submissions may take longer. Once verified, your account is flagged as approved and all future e-wallet Transfers process without additional document requests.
Verification does not delay your first deposit
You can initiate a mobile banking Transfer before verification is complete. If your documents are still under review, the transfer will hold in a pending state and credit your account once approval comes through. We do not reject verified transfers.
local payment Transfer vs. other payment methods
rapi supports multiple deposit routes, and each has trade-offs. Here's how online payment Transfer compares:
- e-wallet Transfer
- Direct bank transfer; no app required if you use mobile banking ATM. Ideal if you already have a local payment account and prefer traditional banking.
- online payment / e-wallet / mobile banking
- E-wallet deposits; instant if your wallet is funded. Faster than bank transfers but requires a separate app and balance top-up.
- local payment / online payment
- Integrated into shopping apps; convenient if you already use Shopee or e-wallet for daily purchases.
- mobile banking
- QR-code payment; works with any bank or e-wallet that supports local payment. Most flexible but requires a smartphone camera.
- online payment / e-wallet / mobile banking VA
- Virtual accounts from other banks; same process as local payment Transfer but tied to your account with that bank.
Most players use a mix. For example, you might use online payment Transfer for large deposits (since it's tied to your main savings account) and e-wallet for quick top-ups during a live-dealer session. Our platform stores all your payment methods so switching is one tap.

Troubleshooting online payment Transfer delays
Most e-wallet Transfers settle within minutes. If yours hasn't appeared after subject to verification, check the following:
- Confirm the virtual-account number. Copy it directly from the rapi deposit page; typos are the most common cause of failed transfers.
- Check your mobile banking account balance. Ensure you have sufficient funds and that your account is not frozen or restricted.
- Verify the transfer amount. Some banks reject transfers that don't match the exact amount shown on rapi. Do not round or add extra digits.
- Wait during peak hours. Between 18:00–22:00 or during major football matches (Liga 1 weekends, Champions League nights), the banking network may process transfers more slowly.
- Check for holiday delays. Transfers initiated during Idul Fitri, Idul Adha, or Imlek may take longer because bank processing is reduced.
- Contact our support team. If the transfer was deducted from your local payment account but hasn't appeared on rapi after 2 hours, reach out with your online payment transaction reference number and we'll investigate.
We maintain English-language support channels so you can describe the issue clearly. Provide your rapi account email, the transfer amount, the date and time you initiated it, and your e-wallet transaction ID (visible in your mobile banking app statement). Our team will trace the transfer through the banking system and either credit your account or advise you to contact local payment directly if the issue is on their end.
Settlement windows and transparency
We do not guarantee instant settlement. online payment Transfers typically process within subject to verification during business hours, but we do not publish a fixed SLA because banking networks are outside our direct control. Weekends, holidays, and system maintenance windows may extend processing time.
Once a transfer is confirmed in our system, it is irreversible — the funds are yours on rapi. If you need to reverse a transfer before it settles, contact e-wallet directly; once it reaches our account, only a rapi withdrawal can return the money to your bank.
